A Quick And Wholesome Lunch Bowl You’ll Actually Look Forward To

Whether you’re a mama at home or a busy gal at work, we all know the mundaneness that is lunch. However, it’s very important to fuel your body with good food, especially in the afternoon to maintain your energy and focus!

While I’m a creature of habit and like what I like, I’ve been playing with different “lunch bowls” over the last few years. I typically lean toward the Mediterranean-inspired meals, and this bowl is no different. Packed with about 25 grams of protein, this lunch will keep you full for hours. See below for my exact recipe:

  • Chicken Sausage
    • This is not the ‘healthiest’ form of meat, as it is considered a processed food, but it’s high in protein and quick to prepare. It’s all about balance! For a healthier route, you can choose to opt for grilled chicken breast or a different type of fresh meat you enjoy.
  • Spinach
  • Avocado
  • Rainbow Quinoa
  • Canned Chickpeas
  • Jarred Artichoke Hearts
  • Jarred Banana Peppers
  • Mozzarella Balls
