Amazon Finds I’m Loving In The Toddler Years

I’ll admit it – I’m an Amazon addict. Anything you could need is at your fingertips and you truly can’t beat the fast shipping. As a mom to two toddlers, I’m on there multiple times a week usually ordering and scrolling more often than I’d like to admit. Over the last few years, I’ve found a handful of items that have become part of our daily lives. They’ve not only made my life a little easier, but have made my kids’ days more fun too.

These are my 10 favorite finds:

  • This bedding for Noah was a great way for him to be excited about his bed! When we first transitioned him to his toddler bed from the crib, he was a wreck. By letting him choose his own bedding, it showed him that he had a say in the process. If you have a toddler you know how important control is for them, especially with big changes!
  • If this is the only thing you take away from this post, I’d consider it a success. This stain spray has saved countless articles of clothing for my family. This spray takes out everything, and I’m even talking pasta sauce!

  • I created a little play space for my kids in what’s supposed to be our formal living room, and these toy storage cubes have been perfect. They’re fun, functional, and somehow make the area feel a little more contained.
  • Before the big switch to the toddler bed, we were using this clock to help Noah understand when it was time to wake up. He used to wake at 5 AM with zero concept of time, but this clock turns green at a set time to signal it’s okay to get out of bed. We plan to use this again once things settle down again.
  • We’ve had these play mats for almost two years now, and I just purchased another pack now that we have a basement! It’s signifies a designated area for toys (even though we all know they won’t stay there), and adds cushion for parents when you want to get down and play with your kids!
  • This table is perfect for arts and crafts! It’s actually very aesthetic for keeping out in your home, and reasonably priced. You can even use it for meals if your littles are done with the high chair but now quite ready for the dining table. One side even has a blackboard for chalk play!

  • I’ve purchased several toddler cups, and my Zak cups have been the ONLY ones to not spill. These ones are stainless steel for my crunchy mamas, and the cute prints make it fun the kids too.
  • Okay, this one isn’t as fun, but these are the BEST organization containers. I use these to keep my kids’ clothes organized once they grow out of them. If you’re saving clothes for future babies of your own or to pass them along to a friend, these containers are the best! Pro tip – label each container by age.
  • This bag literally looks like a Croc which I find hilarious, but it is SO functional when you have kids. I used this last summer when we went to the pool to store towels, snacks, drinks etc. It’s waterproof (a must with toddlers), and it’s large enough to use as their overnight bag when they stay with my parents.
  • Puzzles were a huge hit for us this winter. If you have a methodical toddler who has some amount of patience, you need to try puzzles! This one in particular has been my son’s obsession! It’s also good practice for them to sit still and concentrate on one activity.

These are just a few things that have added a little ease and joy to our days in this season of life. Motherhood can feel overwhelming at times, but it’s often the smallest things that help make life easier or bring a little extra joy into your home. Of course, none of these things are what your kids are going to remember the most. Being present and showing them love will go much further than any item will.

XO,

Kassie
